Marvin McMahon is a composer for Film, TV and Trailers. He most recently wrote the score for Documentaries such as MAU produced by Karol Martesko-Fenster, which premiered at SXSW Film Festival and SKY’s “Wirecard – The Billion Dollar Lie” which has been nominated for the best Documentary at the German Film Awards and won the Bavarian TV Award. He also recently won 2 Clio Awards, was nominated for the Golden Trailer Awards and the Mark Awards for his work on Netflix’s Trailer and Teaser to “Blonde”. Other recent Projects include the scoring of the German Press Agencies Spotify Original Podcast "Troll Army" and the Trailer to the new streaming Platform of MGM+. He regularly works with Publishers such as Cezame Music Agency, Bibliotheque Music, Warner Chappell, BMG and Soho Music. Marvin studied Music at the University of Sussex and Orchestration at Berklee College of Music.
Most recently Marvin has created his own sample library together with Inlet Audio. His band ‘River Becomes Ocean’ has established to make a name in their genre, signed a record deal with Department Music and Warner Musik and released their Debut Album in January 2019. They had their Music Video in rotation on MTV and VH1, and radio plays on BBC Radio 1. They played sold out shows in the UK and Germany, and toured with bands such as Silverstein, Framing Hanley, The Rogers to name a few. They also signed to Tandem Management where they share a home with some of the best bands around like August Burns Red, Silverstein etc. Recently they started working with TKO Booking Agency and share a roaster with artists such as Hawthorne Heights, Wednesday 13 and John 5. |
